Good afternoon all.

I layed in bed this morning, windows open,  listening to the rain.   It was bliss.   A free and simple pleasure.
Thunder and lightning followed intermitently.
I can almost see my little garden smiling with gratitude.

Scrambled eggs on toast for brekkie and a big mug of tea, and I'm happy.

Thunderstorms here now..
Rain... bliss.... sunshine.... rain...storm.
I think Wimbledon , not too far away, had a bit of rain and storm.
I too am pleased for my garden ..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Good morning all.
It rained most of the night,  so smells lovely and fresh again.

I am off to an exercise class in a mo.   I just joined it last week.
Then I will pop in Tesco for a coffee and bite on the way home.

Has anyone else got such an exciting day planned?

No.. Nothing exciting here.. I have housework to do .. Visitors coming here on Thursday and staying for a few days..
Must make sure all skirting boards are clean..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I'm off to the tip soon to dispose of my ' stripping ' bags.

Back to the pool this morning, it felt wonderful as my body was sinking deeper with every step. Pure bliss to be back. 👌😍

I actually put  a cardigan on over my T.shirt  this evening.
It had dropped down to only 15c. outside, and with the wind blowing I felt ever so slightly chilly.

Crazy weather isn't it.   They say we will be back up to 30c again after Wednesday.

We came back from Cheshire yesterday, visiting our son and family.  Lovely drive through the Peak district.  Class in the pool in the evening, so I slept well.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

sounds a really good day, granny

Big day for me, I'm having my hair cut, and I mean cut. From my waist to my shoulders. I've been struggling with the length lately so after days of pondering I phoned earlier and my hairdresser is coming at 4pm
Hope I don't regret this. 😐🤞

Raven,  if I were you and wanted a length I could manage a bit easier,  I would go shorter in stages, taking perhaps 6-8"  off  at a time off.
After all,  yours is waistlength at the mo,  and you can't stick it back if you don't like it short.

I had mine cropped a couple of days ago.. don't regret it.. So much easier..
I love it..
Run my hands through my hair.. a bit of lippy and I'm ready for off..

Glad you are pleased with it, Scrumps,  probably much easier to look after now.
I think  it can be a bit scary suddenly going much shorter if you've never had short hair before though.
That's why I suggested Raven do it a bit at a time as hers is very long.

Mine is touching my shoulders at the mo.  I quite like it this length.

I've had short and really short hair before at times so I know how it feels n looks. I decided shoulder length so I can still put it up in a clamp if I want. Especially when I'm at the pool.
