Mups, Sainsbury's, Asda, Bon Marche are where I've bought mine from.  They aren't expensive from supermarkets.  There are non swimmers at our classes, the water only needs to be chest deep.  The majority are retired people. I'd try it.

Thanks Mac,  and Raven.
I would never have thought of Supermarkets selling them,  perhaps because I have my groceries delivered each week.  It started in the Covid days, and I kinda got used to it I suppose.
I could have a nose around next time I call in for a lunchtime coffee.

(Just don't expect a picture though).

Ocado coming this morning,  then I am off to have an X-Ray on one hip.
Many more tests and you will see me glowing in the dark!

I also had a small filling in a tooth yesterday afternoon.    Guess how much?

klondike

Les than £100 if you were lucky but not much less.

You're joking!    It cost me £148  which I think is disgusting.  It was only a small front filling too,  not a big back double one.

He tried to talk me into having x-rays which he would then send off to some laboratory to examine the way I bite,  and then they would advise him what sort of filling to do.

I didn't want all that though,  I questioned why it was even necessary.  He said to make sure it stays put for longer.
To which I replied,  I have some back fillings which were done when I was in my 20's, and they're still there  AND there was no faffing about with laboratories in those days!

I have been pretty lucky with my teeth most of my life, and other than impacted wisdom teeth, I have only ever had one tooth extracted, and that was last year.

I asked how much approximately, it would cost to put another one in the gap, and he said . .  give or take a bit . . .  £1,000.  For ONE tooth!!!
Bloody 'ell.  I would want it solid gold for that sort of money.

Isn't it crazy now,  since so many NHS dentists packed up.  I think it's dreadful.
I won't be surprised if our GP's will copy soon,  so we will end up with only the wealthy getting any help one day.

Bloody Hell 😲 I had no idea the Scunners charged that sort of money. Bloody Greed, how to they sleep at night.

It's shocking, isn't it Raven.
The world has become so greedy.

I've also got to take Liffey into the Vet's tomorrow for a blood test.  More money.
The bloods will be somewhere between £90 - £100,  and that's without the £50 consultation fee!

Good morning folks, on this lovely cool, breezy morning - so far.
They are saying it is going to get to 30c again this weekend though. Too much for me.

Some of my beautiful Agapanthus last year.  I have got loads more to flower this year yet.
