I had lazor treatment on both my eyes at the start of the year. It was to reduce the pressure behind the eyes. Worked a treat and didn't hurt at the time, but I was a little lightheaded afterwards for a short time.

Well I am off tomorrow appointment is for 1040 so I should be back home before lunch

It's amazing what they can do but having stuff done to my eyes is against my religion being a devout coward. I know I have cataracts coming. I'm hoping I've gone before they arrive.

I too have cataracts... The optician told me this years ago..
Saw an eye specialist a few months back .. among other things he told me my eyes were healthy and the cataracts were of no importance..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Yes,  my Optician told me a long time back that I had the start of cataracts forming,  but touch wood,  they don't seem to have progressed.

Similar experience to you Scrumpy. I get seen by hospital for my eyes every 6 months or so. Optician mentioned cataracts hospital said not all that important.

And it came to pass that Vlad peace and blessings on his name did venture unto the land of the All Seeing Eyes and gave offerings in homage at their temple and did prostrate himself on the Altar of Pain

And Vlad rose up in triumph ...and yea, there was light and he could see for bloody miles...and he went forth into the lands of Brumaggens spreading joy and happiness for was he not the Chosen One, and the bearer of the Last of the Seven Eggs of   Destiny and Landlord of The Jockeys Nostril Gastro pub, Entertainment and Conference Centre ?
Just an aside, skeletons hanging on metal stands in Doctors Waiting rooms? What's that about? A reminder for patients that haven't paid up front?
Anyway I am back home...

I had a shower after I came home, I looked into the mirror and fell in love with myself, in another time and place I would have been a god, I glanced down at the love muscle ...I try not to stare at it because it senses fear, I didn't see it of course, but it was lurking in the shrubbery. It's amazing this eye surgery..my left eye will be sorted in August, no doubt it will make doubly gorgeous looking 😀
