Well done Boris, he can afford it

Mups

A windy day here,  with alternate sunshine and showers.
Don't know whether to chance putting my washing out or not.

What exciting dilemmas I have.

Going out for lunch later.. I could have gone to Archery but gave it a miss..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Alex

Sunny here again but really windy.   I've got washing on the line. I have to make use of cheap leccy on Sundays

Michael Rolls

Actually had some rain, though not a lot, but very, very windy today
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me

Ocado delivery this morning..
Tomorrow I am going to The Black Country Living Museum.. Birmingham..
It looks interesting...  Has anyone been there..?
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Good morning all.  Bright and sunny, but still a cool wind blowing.

You managed your Ocado delivery then, Scrumpy, well done.
Is it just since they changed their website you've found it tricky?

Got to nip up to the local garden centre in a mo, as I've run out of Cactus compost.
I was surprised how much I used when repotting my Aloe's,  so not enough left for the Christmas Cactus.
One of the Christmas cactus is special to me because it was a cutting from my old Mum's enormous plant.  She died 11 yrs ago now.
She always kept a lot of African Violets as well,  and the ones I have are all cuttings from Mum's plants too.  I think she'd have been pleased to know I had kept them growing all these years.

Just ordered some coffee beans on Amazon. The price has gone absolutely mental since my last order.

Morning all.  It's grey and windy, and just started to rain here.
That's put pay to any gardening, so looks like it will dog clipping the poor neglected mutts instead.

I have bought one of those pillows supposed to be for side-sleepers, do you know what I mean?
They are memory foam and have got a high ridge all along one edge for neck support.
It's taking some getting used to as it is very hard and solid compared to my previous feather one.
First night I thought it felt like a block of wood under my head!

Has anyone else got one, and if so, how do you get on with yours?

Mups

So,   from the post above,  has anyone else got one?

Where's Scrumpy gone?  Has she been captured by aliens do you think?
Hope she's alright.

Just off to my Chiropractor now,  let her do some work on my back.

Never tried anything but normal pillows. I expect Scrumpy is still recovering from the party.

Alex

I've got feather pillows and fancied a memory foam, but a friend said she bought one and it made her head sweat, so she gave it to her son.  No idea if he now has a sweaty head or not  😂

I know what you mean about some pillows making you sweat,  that has happened to me in the past.
So far, this one isn't doing anything like that,  its just the hardness of it I am not used to.
Having said that,  I do think I am sleeping a bit better as I'm getting more used to it.
I will see how it goes during the summer.
Thanks Alex.

I found out today that she has been away for a few days.
No doubt she will tell us all about it when she gets home again.

Alex

She was going to the Black Country I think
