Maybe you're right about growing in pots, alex.  MIne are in pots too, and don't look too good so far this year.
I will read up on that.  Thanks.

Scrumpy,  Norfolk Lavender have some white ones.
They've even got one I have never seen before - a red and white one.   It's called Kew Red.

When I was a kid lavender was just blue...

Yes,  there are so many if you look at the actual growers rather than garden centres
The French lavenders are lovely,  but not so hardy as the English.

I visited Norfolk Lavender once,  there's lots to see there,  and everything they sell, like hand creams, shampoos, air fresheners etc,  are all made with their lavender.  There's a nice cafe there too.

By the way,  this is another plant I love.  Garden Pinks. Beautiful colours and the most heavenly scent.
These people have a wonderful selection, in case you were interested.

Thank you Mups..
Today I am testing my garden solar lights before I hang them in the trees and bushes..

Also I am waiting a paint delivery.. I painted a fence the other day.. The colour was horrible
I am going to paint it dark grey instead.. I always use dark grey..
Why on earth did I change it !!..  :nooo:
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Raven

I got my solar lights out yesterday, some hanging and some pushed into plant tubs, all working away fine. Just one to go yet, a table lamp but it's a bit windy for it.

Mups

How you feeling today. Raven?
Any better?    I hope so.

Not too bad thanks Mups, Able to drive again so been having my latte down at the front watching the ocean. Still no pool, not up to that yet maybe next week. Managing to do jobs round the place but have to sit afterwards for a wee while. Hope your on the mend.

I went to aqua aerobics today, coffee with friends after, then had my nails done.  Felt nearly normal again. Apart from my washing line snapping and the bedding landing on the grass, it's been a good day! 😁
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Good to hear that you are feeling better GrannyMac and that Raven is up and about ..
And Ruthio plus son... is on the mend..
Alex has been poorly with covid .. Let's hope she too is outside enjoying the sunshine...

Sunny here but the wind can feel chilly.. Tested all my solar lights and they are all working..

Another beautiful sunny day here.
Washing's out,  and dogs bedding blowing on the line.

My computer man just came in with a new keyboard for me as I've been having problems with the old one.    So far,  it seems good.

I am now going to take some soup down to a poorly friend,  then go to the paper shop to pay my bill.
After that I have a new Rose I want to get planted - if I can manage to dig the hole with my dodgy back and right leg!

Scrumpy

Aww!! Poor you Mups.
If you lived round the corner I would help you..
I'm good at digging holes..

Painted my fence grey this morning.. Took a couple of pain killers beforehand.. I took stronger ones than Paracetamol... I shouldn't really because I take high blood pressure tablets.. But, my sciatica has been playing up..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Mups

Thanks Scrumpy.

Sciatica is horrible isn't it.  Can be very painful too.
Doc wants me to have an MRI now,  but he warned it could be several months wait!
Seems you've just got to have money to get anything done nowadays.

Didn't get my garden done in the end.  I went to see a friend, and unfortunately we had 'a few words.' This upset me, and I was so fed up that I went down to Waitrose cafe and stuffed my face with calories I shouldn't have done.

My daughter and granddaughter came over,we had soup and sandwiches fir lunch then popped into town for a wander.  Coffee and cake followed. ☺️
