Cracking photo Raven  :upvote:
Got up to a lovely smell in the kitchen this morning, a Hairy Bikers recipe for pulled pork, cooked overnight in the slow cooker.
Gone really chilly here today and no sign of the sun...

Thankyou, It's been a lifelong hobby of mine, I first took an interest when I was about 12 years old and watched my mother who was the family photographer at that time. I gradually took over and for the past 40+ years I always had a camera to hand, the digital ones are a great help as I always had to buy film before. Now I can store them on the computer and take as many as I want, and delete at will if I'm not happy with the result. Must admit I don't take as many as I used to when I still had the dogs, they were all my subjects and inspiration.

Got a new phone cover, never seen one like this before, fair chuffed with it.

WOW!

I need to do a tip run.. But at the moment I am sitting on the chair that needs to be gone..
It opens at nine.. Long queues on a Sunday.. Might do it tomorrow..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Alex

Such a dismal day here  but at least it's warmer than of late.

I made a pulled pork recipe in the slow cooker Friday night.  It was from from Hairy Bikers and is sooooooo nice, dinner sorted again :upvote:

Well that's my wee Water Feature back together, hopefully the crows will leave it alone this year. I think they're attracted to the bright colors and keep pinching the wee flowers.

What a bloomin'  day.

My son and his wife were going to take me out for Sunday lunch,  as an early Mothers Day surprise.
We had only got about 2 or 3 miles along when we took a short cut along a road with all those speed bumps dotted around.  They weren't those ones that are a ridge across the width of the road, they were  those  rectangular ones dotted about,  which can develop sharp edges.
We weren't going fast,  but the wheels under me sitting at the back seemed to 'clonk'  at each bump.

To cut a long story short,  my son pulled over and got out the car and checked the tyres,  and one back tyre had a big tear in it and was flat as a pancake!

What is it with modern cars that some overpaid half wit decided it was a good idea not to give new cars a spare wheel anymore??

Luckily we were only a few hundred yards from a Halfords, and they were open.  It's a good job we weren't miles away, out in the country lanes.

At first Halfords said they hadn't got the right tyre, and they would have to order it.    But then they found one that someone else had ordered and was going to collect next Tuesday,  so they used that one and said they would re-order   another one for that man.
So that was lucky,  and we were finally able to get on our way again.

So eventually we got to our destination,  but they were packed out,  and we had to wait 45 mins for a table!

When we finally got back home,  one of the dogs had done a big wee on the kitchen floor!

I simply do not understand what bloody idiot decided spare wheels weren't needed

You and me both, Michael.
They should never have been allowed to get away with that crazy idea.
