It was cold Saturday but sunny. I went shooting with my son wearing jeans and a good woolly with the skeet vest  (they have monster pockets for cartridges but no warmth) on top. Plenty warm enough.

Went this morning - same kit plus a warm bomber jacket under the vest. Really frozen in no time. Thawed out after at daughters place which is near the clay ground.

Yes, I was frozen today, too.

Something that really annoyed me was,  I called into Tesco for a hot coffee as I was so cold,  but it was colder in their cafe than it was outside!  Perhaps that is why there were very few in there.

I remarked on it to one of the staff,  and told her it was like sitting on the end of Southend Pier.  My legs were frozen from the icy cold draught blowing.
She agreed with me, and she thought it was cold in there too
.
She said the trouble is, the Air-Con was blowing   and they couldn't do anything about it because it is controlled by somewhere miles away!     I remember M&S telling me the same last winter too, when their ice cold air-con was blowing in January!.

How stupid is that?  Why do they not let these big stores control their own air-con, for heaven's sake.
Some store many miles away wouldn't have a clue of the temperature in my local store, surely?
I blame the Managers for not sorting this out.

Quote from: klondike on Yesterday at 11:25:51 PMAre you going to be able to set that new router up? IMO its not likely to make much difference but good luck.
I  haven't a clue yet.
I soon will though,  because it arrived today by courier.
That was very quick, wasn't it,  it was next day delivery.

I can only look at where I take the plugs and wires out of the old one and put them in the same place on this new one?    Is it a difficult job do you know?
