Colour temperature and brightness aren't the same thing.

If you don't want an electrician bill why not order the tube off amazon?
As you got the old one out you know how they go back in. Line up the slots push tube up and in then twist through 90 degrees.
I would if I knew what to order,  but as I said earlier,  I don't know anything about Volts/Watts/Lumens etc.  so what if I ordered the wrong thing?

The way some of the delivery firms chuck things about,  it might even arrive broken too..  Then what.

Anyway,  I am going to let the dogs out for their bedtime wee,  then get off to bed else I shall oversleep in the morning.

It's a mystery to me why lightbulbs don't have their precise details printed or embossed clearly.  It's so blooming irritating to find a partially legible hint of a specification which, unless by pure fluke you hold it up to the sun on the second Sunday after the mid lunar cycle prior to the second solstice whilst holding a UV light with your finger up your nose and squinting in an undefined manner,  you'll never be able to make out.

Mind you, it's also a complete mystery why they use stickers on items, which are a bugger to get off with or without soaking in white sprit and stinking your fingers when subsequently scratching with your nails, and then require several doses of neat fairy liquid.

I want to find the inventors of these unnecessary annoyances and give them a jolly stern talking to.
