Mups

Morning all.   Yet another dull and dreary grey day, so miserable.

I've got my Ocado order coming this morning,  and then a lady from  . .? . .  to talk to me about . .? . .  so that should be interesting don't you think?
If you can make sense out of that,  you'd better be here with me when she comes.

Hmmm. An eMail from the BBC

Earlier this year, you filled in the 'Our BBC, Our Future' questionnaire. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback.

You are one of 872,701 who shared your views. We've listened, and it's given us a powerful picture of what people across the UK want and value from the BBC.

Today, we're sharing the results. You can explore them by clicking on the button below, where you can also find out how to stay involved.

Now we will take what you have told us and use it to shape our plans for the future of the BBC.

Thanks again for having your say.

Tim Davie
Director General, BBC

I vaguely recall some survey or other. I must have been bored to reply. As it was the BBC I don't doubt that my reply would not have pleased them so I certainly doubt that "Now we will take what you have told us and use it to shape our plans for the future of the BBC."  is likely toi be happening but if they stop pestering people for money and either become a subscription service or anything else that means the end of the licence fee you'll know who to thank.

I think, to summarise, they've listened and have decided to ignore all of it and do what they were going to do anyway.

I'm sure that the payers of the several thousand licence fees this exercise doubtless consumed will consider it money well spent. I didn't contribute of course but I'd rather see it spaffed up the wall than in Linekers pocket.

I don't know why I'm potentially falling for this, but ... honestly???

Made me chuckle, but I'm not quite awake. Very broken sleep last night, off to the pool soon, for a real wake up!
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Downloaded the Veterans Digital ID today. It's a test rollout of the national Digital ID...
What a kerfuffle...it rejected a number of my photos, apparently having Fang der Wunderhund in the frame was a no no, also not showing my shoulders (wot?) wearing glasses, and being too ugly.
Eventually everything was accepted, I haven't felt anything different...I have not received strange commands to love Keir in my earbuds ....if I post Trump style posts ignore me.

A plastic ID would be better, at least you could use it to scrape the ice from your windscreen.
