Quote from: Alex on October 08, 2025, 08:12:43 AMChilly, dull morning here.  Temu parcel expected today, but I can't remember what I've ordered so a nice surprise awaits

I try not to look at Temu... I get carried away..!!
I didn't know it was there until you mentioned it.. :nooo:
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Alex

I order things for my friend who's not very good on the computer.  I pay on my credit card and she gives me the cash, I don't mind doing this but must admit it's a pain when I've got to wait in

Silly question, but why don't you put your friend's address down for the place to deliver to?

I know this is possible on Amazon to deliver to another address, but I haven't seen that option on Temu but maybe I missed it !

Just looked.  Just before you hit pay, at the top of the page there's your name and address.  If you click on it (or the small arrow to the right of it) you can add a new address.

Email from the hospital today, cancelling next week's knee replacement op. It's now delayed until November.   Have a couple of outings booked early December, lets hope I can still go.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Bad news on the delay Mac. Hope you can get sorted soon and not at a time that is going to mess with your Christmas.

Oh dear,   that's a pity Granny.
I expect that must feel quite a let down, especially when you had probably geared yourself up to go in.

Thank you for the days, the days you gave me

Quite.  Bang goes that Douglas Bader school of tap dancing lesson before Christmas GM.  But little doubt that you'll be performing in the National Theatre's rendition of "The Ginger Rogers Story" by Easter.

Ta folks, I'm over it now, it is what it is.  My lovely daughter has already sourced a wheelchair in case I need it for our trip to Chatsworth to meet up with my daughter in law. The house is fabulous at Christmas, with a lovely market and as it's between us in Yorkshire and our son in Cheshire it's a place we've met a few times.

Dex, I'll be very happy if I can tap dance even if it takes months! Especially as I couldn't do it with two good knees.  💃🏾😉

The bin men have been.. Garden rubbish has gone.. That means I can fill the bin again today..

GM, I fear you may have missed my reference to Douglas Bader. 😬
