 Another week just flew by...but it's cooler today thank goodness.
 I'm off to see my oldest friend again today, she's been diagnosed with terminal cancer and is undergoing immune therapy infusions.   It looks like so far so good, if successful this will give her more time but there's no cure.

So, for our 33rd wedding anniversary, we went to the undertakers to see my wife's mother one last time.  Strange how completely different she looked.

We were going to go for a bit to watch afterwards, but nowhere felt particularly inspiring.  So, we're just getting a takeaway this evening, and finishing off writing the eulogy.

Dex... The days will pass.. Loads of memories for your wife and they seem to fill your head until it overflows.. Only time will help.. 
Memories never go away.. Thank goodness they don't..

She is out of pain now, Dex,  God bless her.   From what you say, she couldn't have gone on like she was.

The funeral is Tuesday didn't you say?

Its been raining on and off all night here,  and it finally feels a bit cooler, but not much.
All my outdoor plants are standing up like little soldiers now, I am so pleased.

Just going to have a bite to eat, else it will be tea time before we know it. 

Beat that for an exciting day.

Its been pouring here since lunch time. Just stopped, so I'm considering a walk to the park, there's an art exhibition in the bowling clubhouse.

Rain here too..
All of a sudden I have Evening Primrose in bloom .. How strange.. I never planted her..
  My grass is not recovering .. Nor is my neighbours ..They paid a small fortune to have it all treated in the spring.. They are not happy.. 
Might have a little drive around Morrison's car park later... need to do a bit of shopping..
