I have just spent a few moments staring at a dead leaf in the garden trying to work out what horrible creature it could be.. I didn't have my glasses on.. :embarrassed:
been there , I have the same problem
I thought there was a unicorn at the bottom of my garden, it was only when I put my glasses on that i realised it was a horse with a traffic cone on its head.

Morning, I woke up to blue sky and sunshine, wonder how long that'll last. Nothing planned for today, we did a massive drive yesterday to the West Coast and the loop back, it took nearly 6 hours but we had several stops along the way. Lots of motor homes arriving and we were glad to get off the main route of the NC500 to the quieter ones, strange, the NC500 route used to be dead quiet too untill those idiots in offices decided to turn it into the awful mess it's become. But I won't get on my high horse about it Today.
Enjoy your Easter Monday. 🐰 🐇 🐣

Mups

Good morning all,  on this grey, drizzly Easter Monday.

Fancy a little brain teaser to think about over breakfast?

Q.  What is so fragile that even saying its name will break it?    :hmm:

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Ah,  you're on the ball this morning.

Dex and Scrumps are quite right.  The answer is Silence.  :upvote:

There's a rather wonderful masterclass given by Daniel Barenboim on one of the Beethoven Sonatas in which he expands on the use of silence within a musical piece.

Oh Great, Just had a call from my daughter, some woman's reversed into her new car. Regan had reversed out of her bay (Tesco) had stopped to put her car in first to drive off when BANG, another car reversed out without looking straight into Regan. She is not a happy Easter bunny.

dextrous63

Aaargh!  How old is the car?  One really hopes to get through at least a few months before the first mishap.

Raven

It's a 24 plate Dex. Her pride n joy.

dextrous63

We've got the same car but a 74 plate.
I feel for her.

Raven

I've only been in it a couple of times but it's a grand wee bus. My only gripe is there's no place to put things but I'm used to big 4x4s with lots of cubby holes and room for wet dogs.

dextrous63

Yep.  Mind you, for a small car it's remarkably tall.
