You're not another one who goes out in shorts all winter, are you?

There are times when it doesn't matter whether a gentleman is wearing shorts or trousers and it is on those occasions that delays in proceedings result in the problem. The price of heating clearly doesn't help either.

Cup of tea in bed this morning.  Pretty much the same as every morning!  Tea cooked by my OH too, so I washed up for a change. Happy Valentine's! 😁

Sounds good, GrannyMac.

Do you know,  it perhaps sounds daft,  but I can't remember a man ever cooking for me in my entire life  -  other than when eating out,  of course.

My OH does most of the cooking, so I'm lucky in that respect.  He did it occasionally when the kids were growing up, after I started working.  When he was recovering from his bypass, (he was only 50) and couldn't go back to work, I worked full time, and he more or less took over the cooking. It suits me, and we split other household tasks, which I believe is only fair as we're both retired.

Sad?  We have a good working arrangement:
Marge does the cooking; I do the washing up.  Isn't that fair?

Vlad

I do most everything now, cooking cleaning  etc
The reason why women love military men? It's not the uniform. It's because we can cook, clean, sew, iron and make beds, but above all; we know how to follow orders

Never even had anyone do that for me, Scrumps.

It would probably seem very strange to me now.
