Turned out I got my days mixed up and the roasties were for yesterday with pork loin.

Today I have peeled and chopped potatoes ready to make a mash to go on cottage pie, which will be eaten at chez MiL.

Chicken for me - again

I'm having chicken too. A nice chicken teriyaki with rice and vegetables. I'm a bit late starting the prep - only just got it out of the freezer but the microwave has a chaos defrost setting that works well if I'm hungry before it has defrosted itself.

We had salmon last night. Might be cottage pie tonight, got plenty of spuds, and need to use up a cabbage too.

Think I'll have another cuppa before I have me shower.

We've had snow.  No gardening for me today! 😉

We did too but not much and it has now mostly all melted. I won't be doing any gardening either though. Might have a lazy morning as there is a delivery coming unexpectedly early - I wasn't expecting it til Thursday.

The roads are clear now,  might have a walk to the local shops after lunch.

There was snow here to,  but its raining now so its washing it all away quite fast.   Still only 3 degs. though.

I am supposed to go to the Optician this afternoon, and really don't feel like venturing out in the car, but I suppose I'll have to.

I had the steroid injection in my shoulder yesterday.  Not a lot of fun.  It hurt like hell as he was squirting the stuff in.
However,  it is getting better each day now,  and I slept better last night too,  so that's a positive.

Just had a nice big bowl of Vegetablw soup, and I am now going to have a coffee.  Anybody else want one while the kettles hot?

Have you enough milk for a milky one please ? . Or shall I bring some with me..
I'll buy some Biscottis.. then we can dunk..

I had a nice milky coffee earlier, with sugar free caramel syrup in it.  Yummy.
