We had severe storms going on in the distance yesterday.. Guildford was hit badly..
We had a few drops of rain.. and it was so, so warm..
Today , they say, is going to be the last of this heatwave..
I do hope so.. My legs were not happy..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

We only had about 6 splashes of rain, and that was it.

Terrible hot, stuffy night.  My poor old elderly dog was suffering, too.

It's slightly more comfortable today so far,  but I will be happier still if it cools a couple more degrees,  and rains on my poor plants too.

My elder(ly) cat looked particularly down at heels yesterday due to the heat.

After a quick shop this morning, I went on a brief litter picking walk, and he accompanied me, checking my neighbours' front gardens for anything of interest to a feline, reporting back to me with meows along the way.

I think the cat accompanying on your litter pick up is wonderful..

My cat would accompany me to the local shop.. She would sit on a wall that was outside the shop waiting for me.. If she met up with any dogs on the way she would take a short cut through neighbour's gardens..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Was?
No dieting at Chez Dex then.

I'd have to make that last a week and still only lose 2oz or more likely put 8 on.
