Ah but I do. Used to use them at the caravan and have some spares. I cba to fit one though.

I didn't realise you'd stopped going to the caravan. Do you miss it?

Anyway we have a Shark WandVac, just for vacuuming up the cat litter, & it only has a very small dust collector that opens automatically when the release button is pressed.

It's a good little device but the dust collector is the weak point & yesterday it broke at the spring loaded hinge so I phoned Shark to ask about buying on as I didn't see one listed in their spares.

To my amazement they don't supply a replacement dust container, you have to buy the complete handle, which contains the motor, at a cost of £69.

However, our WandVac is still under warranty so we're getting the replacement unit free of charge, but when the dust container breaks again, as it no doubt will at some point, it'll be £69 to replace it.
