Mups

Another sweaty day ahead
Too hot to even stay in bed
Boring salad we do eat
On a pouffe we put our feet
And a cool flannel on our head.

Must be bad for the bunnies hopping round
They might boil if they stayed underground
All the Chickens  and the Geese
And the sheep with their fleece
Must be desperate for water to be found.

klondike

Bound to end in a monster storm
Thunder and lightning is the norm

Scrumpy

Bound to end in a monster storm
Thunder and lightning is the norm
A clap here , a clap there
An outbreak of clap everywhere
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Mups

Bound to end in a monster storm
Thunder and lightning is the norm
A clap here , a clap there
An outbreak of clap everywhere
But at least it will water the lawn.

klondike

Just so long as it don't water me
I suppose I'll have to wait and see

Ruthio

Just so long as it don't water me
I suppose I'll have to wait and see
It's going to get hotter! 🔥

Scrumpy

Just as long as it don't water me
I suppose I'll have to wait and see
It's going to get hotter
And storms we are getting a lotta !!
And that is summer for you and me.
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

While changing the sheets on her bed
Nora had a thought come into her head

GrannyMac

While changing the sheets on her bed
Nora had a thought come into her head
Housework is boring
I should go exploring

Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Silver Tabby

While changing the sheets on her bed
Nora had a thought come into her head
Housework is boring
I should go exploring
So she went out hiking instead.

When clearing out the garden shed

klondike

When clearing out the garden shed
Bill was filled with an awful dread

Mups

When clearing out the garden shed
Bill was filled with an awful dread
For he smelled a bad smell
His nausea he had to quell

klondike

When clearing out the garden shed
Bill was filled with an awful dread
For he smelled a bad smell
His nausea he had to quell
Surely the cause must be something dead

Fearing the worst Bill moved a box
All he could see was couple of rocks
He gave one a gentle push
Underneath a curl of mush
Doubtless a gift left by a  fox

He scoope it up into the bin

Ruthio

He scoope it up into the bin
Where it festered  and rotted therein

Scrumpy

He scooped it up into the bin
Where it festered and rotted therein
The pong was  thick in the air
And the bin men wouldn't go there
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..
