May was looking at a holiday ad
As she sat there on her IPad
Two weeks in Spain for 300 quid?
Payment needed now and so she did
The very next day she was hopping mad

When she checked her credit card
What she saw just left her jarred
For her card had been maxed out
She thumped the screen and began to shout
For she knew she'd dropped her guard

She got on the phone right away
Surely she'd not have to pay?

She was on the phone right away
Surely she'd not have to pay ?
There was no firm it was a con
And her savings had all gone

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

She was on the phone right away
Surely she'd not have to pay ?
There was no firm it was a con
And her savings had all gone
A scammer had had his way.

She wished her money she'd kept
Poor May sat down and wept
Then her doorbell rang
It was the handsome Sam
And he held her until she slept.

There's a lesson to be learnt from May
We need to be careful each day
If it's too good to be true
Don't let a bargain fool you
Into parting with pensions or pay.

Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Well said GrannyMac
I agree with all of that
Too quick to throw money away
In the bank we should let it stay
Sometimes a brain is what we lack
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..
