Molly was upset and hurt
Her feelings ground into the dirt
'He'd prefer my daughter
So I think he oughta
Bugger off, 'cos I now prefer Bert'!


She shut the door in his face
And he went down the path at a pace

Maybe her photo was slightly old
But there was only a hint of mould

Klondikes been on the sherry again 
He's usually good.. Such a shame
He's jumped the gun. Not on the ball
I knew that he would eventually fall
'I jumped a page' ..Sausage fingers he'll blame

Scrumps, he's done this before - 
In fact,  many times galore!
As you say it's the Sherry
It makes him too merry
