I don't think the newcomers intended to push us aside as you say, but that's what happened, because too many came all together and just talked to each other.  It went on for ages, so oldies couldn't get a look in and had no idea who these people were.  I can't do things fast these days      so one or two newcomers at a time will suit me, dunno about everyone else ?

When we moved over here from PF we took a few people with us.. 
I am sure that the newcomers who found us felt a little bit left out seeing that we all knew each other..
PF was a dead site anyway.. It only had a couple of regulars still posting when the invasion took place.. The invaders had very little choice other than to chat with each other.. They seem a friendly bunch and it takes time for people to accept and get to know each other..
I think a different mix of members is a good thing.. There will be those you like and others not so keen on.. That is the norm .. 
I like it here.. I do pop over to PF and if I could bring them over here.. I would..

The only people that seem to have found this place recently are those that have been blocked by the anti spammer mod. Perhaps I should disable it

Brian must be 'over the moon'..  At the moment his posts are popular but they are beginning to twig on.. He will never fade away completely because he has no idea that he repeats himself.
I too prefer the 'feel' of this forum..
There are people 'over there' that would fit in nicely on here.. and I would have liked to have seen that happen..
