Raven you have scenery to die for!

Dry today! Washing going on line when I get up.  Helping in charity shop later, I'll walk down because there's a match on at lunchtime.  If I take the car, I won't be able to park at home later.  🫤

Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Lovely piccie Raven.

Having a lie in.  Might go to the tip, or might not.  Decisions, decisions.

Great scenery there Raven away from major towns and cities. Thanks for your pictures.

I love the scenery up here. If you have time you should go to Google Earth, look for Thurso and follow the Coast Road (A836) in either direction but scroll along it in Street Mode, and you'll get a good look at my big back yard.

You going to give us a what three words location (perhaps in the hidden section of the board) of places of interest Raven?

Raven

#3800
I've never used three words, but I can give you some You Tube links to the places Dageus n I used to go, and the places we take the Clydes.

Just saved myself £15. CO alarm doing odd things. Checked the date 2 years left. Cursed. Was about to order another and looked at it more carefully. This one unlike all my other alarms uses disposable batteries. Put in new ones and it's good to go.

Scrumpy

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Going to take a walk in Dunnet Forest shortly, taking note of where fallen trees are so Dunc can take the chainsaw to them and load the trailer. I'll take a carrier bag with me to fill with fallen pine cones, they make great fire lighters when their dried out. Nice pine smell cones from the fire too.
Usually do this over the summer, but no Dageus no forest walks.

He'll be with you in spirit, without a doubt ! :upvote:

The sun is out here 11°

It'd dry. About as good as expected today. I went to Sainsburys earlier, my outings recently seem to be either grocery or medically related!  Daughter and family are coming over later, nice to catch up with them.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

I had arranged to meet an old friend for lunch in a nice little cafe in town today.
I arrived first, and found it was not open on Mondays!

I hung about in the drizzle waiting for her to arrive,  and when she got there,  we decided to try an Italian place in town instead.
When we got there -  guess what . . . . .  not open until Monday evening!!!

We were getting hungry, cold, and pretty wet by then.

Finally drove to a garden centre and got some lunch there.    Third time lucky.
