£31k new car really tells against one

I doubt that the value of the insured vehicle figures all that highly in the premium. Personal injury claims can easily run to hundreds thousands in payouts.

I know mine went up when I changed vehicle but put that down to rip off but it may have been because I had also turned 70 at about that time. It may just be that my current car is in a higher insurance class too though.
