I think you'll find it's merely a stance to set up exchanges. The Russki's are renown for it.

Unless a person is in the Ukraine forces they shouldn't be fighting the enemy..
I know that sounds harsh but these men will now cost us dearly to get them back home..
Russia will use them to their advantage..

Surely if they're soldiers and they wanted them dead - they'd just have shot them? It's what happens in war.

They already were living in the Ukraine and were part of their armed forces, as far as I can make out.

I was trying to attach a cutting from a paper but the attachment is different from PF and I can't get it to work.

Rather than being afraid you should be angry with Putin for...

• Invading a sovereign nation
• Destroying 77 years of European peace
• Destroying the lives of millions
• Bringing the Earth, once again, to the brink of nuclear war
• Disrupting an already damaged supply chain
• Helping petroleum prices spike
• Worsening worldwide inflation
• Setting back the global recovery from Covid 19

   

And that's just for starters.

What sort of attachment? It should be simple to support most types. Alternately you could just post a link to it and most browsers will support it or it wouldn't be on a website anyway.

It was part of a newspaper cutting, but I can only use the uploading thing when it's like the one on PF we all got used to. I don't understand this url business. I'm not actually all that good with computers and I tend to stick to what I learned/know.

What urls? Plus when I was booted out of PF no attachments were possible anyway as the upload area was full. I think you even mentioned that in a post recently.



If you mean just doing a copy paste from a web page that was always possible here but I made the default editor the default because the bugs in the WYSIWG editor caused all those annoying BBcode FONT and SIZE tags to appear sometimes but the choice to use it was always there as I put up several posts about.

Anyway the new release does not have that bug and is the new default should we ever get a new poster so you can use it without the bug if you want. I mentioned that when I said I'd be upgrading the software and the instructions how to later here...

As on PF the button to post images asks for a URL though.

If it's anything else please ask again as I'm not sure what  you mean and can't try out myself on PF having upset Chris and being banned.
