The Balls Pond Road
In the sixties, when Kenneth Horne and troupe were on the radio every Sunday lunch time, Kenneth Williams did a spot where he would sing meaningless songs that frequently referred to the Balls Pond Road and the people he met there.

Apart from a relatively important cemetery, and part of an important route across London, I don't think it's important for anything else. The pond itself, and Balls' field were lost in the mists many years ago.
