It really is a sad state of affairs when the only way we have of preventing illegal immigration to UK is - the weather ! :wtf: :gb:

Raven

I take the dingies are grounded today then?

Alex

Weather in the channel is bad apparently

Michael Rolls

Perhaps we ought to invent a series of giant egg beaters to install just outside France's territorial waters to ensure permanent dinghy proof wave conditions

Thanks for that for two reasons Alex
1 I enjoyed it
2 I though I'll subscribe to this bloke.

Then I saw I was already but never heard of new stuff. I think I may have sussed why I don't get notified about new stuff from folks I subscribe to. Ages back when we use to have a young grandson fairly regularly I use to lend him my tablet. He used to subscribe to boring devils playing Minecraft and all sorts of other stuff 8 year old boys watch. I suspect that rather than click through and unsubscribe only to get it back a week or so later I may have set up a filter in Gmail binning all YouTube emails. Time to take a look....

Nope. In that case no idea I used to get plenty about some bloke I christened boring man.

No the way it gets told is the more it warms up the more extreme the weather becomes. We'll be full to saturation point and doing an Atlantis way before the hurricanes in the channel stop the dinghy boys though.

Alex

There are over 1,000 dingy dippers camped at a small place near to Calais, waiting to cross to UK.  Police tried to dismantle the camp this morning 30th and several officers were injured as migrants, mostly African attacked the police. Sad state of affairs indeed.

Raven

So much for the French doing their bit to help stop them.  :waiting:
Pity all that extra money was chucked at them.

Alex

This dinghy was being parked in Dover docks after bringing in 60 migrants.  It doesn't look like a boat you could buy ' off the peg' so why hasn't the Home Office been able to find out who is supplying these mega boats  ?

Jacqueline

Obviously not a cheap dinghy, but with  the money they are being paid no problem to lose it.  I am sick of hearing about these poor people, poor they 'ant.

Michael Rolls

Nor are the vast majority of them genuine refugees. Look at any picture over the years of people fleeing danger - the columns contain all ages, both sexes. Look at the faces, etched with pain and terror
What are we seeing here? The vast, vast majority are youngish men looking confident in reaching their destination

Mike that lot staying in Penally, were an arrogant lot, their accommodation was not of the standard they expected, they protested, not the actions of genuine, grateful to find saftey refugees at all.  They are invaders, how anyone is taken in by their sob stories beats me.
