Scrumpy

This morning I had a Face to Face coffee with crabbyob..
Thank you crabbyob.. It made a pleasant change to chat to someone that I know little about..
I could tell instantly that we would get on well..
I understood every word he spoke.. I didn't think I would.. What with him being   Scottish..  Being a giggler he soon put me at ease and .. wait for it.. Maggie's name came up.. But we didn't fight.. :nooo:
He said I had an 'educated voice'.. Thank you crabbyob..'..
It would be a nice thing if others on here, who just need a change could do this and have a 'Coffee' with another..

It's not a dating site , so there is no fear of rejection..

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Good to hear that. Last I heard from you you thought it wouldn't be possible.

I'm always up for a cuppa on my travels mainly in the North West

There are a few people on here that are on their own..
Just having an interesting/ friendly chat can lift a persons spirits..
Golf.. fishing.. music.. So many things of interest..
Ok.. so I have friends.. I can get out.. I am able bodied and usually find something to do.. But It is good to chat to someone different..

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Each to their own as the old saying goes, I don't want to sound anti social, although I am that way inclined

Although I agree that it's nice to have a good natter, there has to be some common ground to start with. Not many people get me or my sense of humour, and I do understand why so am really not that bothered.

Scrumpy

I agree with everything you are saying.. It is not for everyone ..
I mentioned it because some on here seem so isolated and lonely..
We are all different .. and being different makes us interesting to others.. It would be bloody boring if we were all the same..

I don't understand a word klondike is on about when talking technology..
Diasi (Phil) with his knowledge of pensions.. A kind man..
Michael Rolls .. So funny when he tries to (understand) what is happening.
Alfred.. Lovely Alfred.. Wanting to know what makes us tick..
and ,of course crabbyob.. Trying to cheer us all up..

We are all different.. but interesting..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Watch out Scrumpy, you may end up in India - although I can think of worse things.

You are brave crabbyob, I don't think I have got the courage to go in the near future.

As you mentioned tech what app did you use. You mentioned FaceTime but that's Apple only and I didn't think crabbyob had Apple kit.

Yes thank you Scrumpy.  My daughter told me that mornings are the worst and when I got up this morning I was in a bad way with sinuses etc. but have improved.  Memo to anyone who gets covid - don't linger in bed in the mornings.  Get up and drain (tmi).

My oxygen level had dropped but has gone back up to 98.  The NHS are very efficient about this as I get a text every morning asking for my reading.  Just don't try 119 for help if you have covid brain fog.  It might make you cry by the time you have made your choice of multiple things to press, none of which quite apply!  I gave up.
