Scrumpy

I never qualified for anything clever...
I didn't pass any exams .. But looking back I have worked at some interesting places..
The pickle factory was an eye opener.. I was just a kid and heard some interesting things from the mature women who worked there..
I have been a barmaid.. Saw another side to the 'posh' rugby players that came in after a game..
Cinema usherette.. Turning away when seeing a kid sitting in the 'posh' seats when they should be in the cheaper seats at the front.. Carrying an ice cream tray during the intervals.. Lovers sitting at the back..
The betting shop.. Local veg shop..
Dinner lady at the college being chatted up by the 'cheeky' students..
It's all been fun..
And not many people can say that..

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Mups

Neither did I qualify at any clever job,  Scrumps, though I was eventually a Carer.

I've had so many jobs in my lifetime,  not sure if I can remember them all even.

I was an apprentice hairdresser straight from school,  then left and went on to office work,  and was a typist for a few years.
Later in life I worked in the village Co-op  (yes really ),  then the  village pub,  followed by a little bakery shop,  and school cleaner, then a  Sainsbury's cafe at lunchtimes,  two more village pubs, then in the kitchen of an old folks home.  I then moved into their laundry department,  and finally ended up becoming a Carer there for ten years before my retirement.

Oh,  I forgot about working in two boarding kennels too,  and did a cleaning job for my vet at the time too.

CHF

Paper round, barmaid, cleaner, laundry worker, Insurance Agent (twice),
sales assistant in a store that sold everything, a shop assistant, a store
manager.
The worst, a laundry worker, boring. The best, a shop assistant and store manager.
I enjoyed the insurance work until an obnoxious manager made me leave. After
about a year, he was moved, so I went back.
