Scrumpy

I was in the garden early.. New fence and gate fitted yesterday.. The men worked through the rain..
They did a good job .. My fence is on higher ground than my path.. with retaing walls..
A bit tricky ... I only went outside to have a look and started sweeping and tidying up..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

A late good morning today.
I haven't done much at all yet, other than had some beans on toast,  fed the dogs,  and got the washing pegged out,  and now I am off to Pets @ Home  for a couple of things.

It's gone really dark here, time to bring the washing in I think.
I had an accident with a mandoline slicer on Wednesday, it's now in the bin as it's not the first time I've had a slip up.  I wonder if you can buy mandoline slicers for left handed people ?

Morning Scrumps,  it's raining here too.

GP wants me to have some blood tests.   Just tried to book,  and they can't do them until August!!!
Isn't it a disgrace nowadays.

Here in Northampton it used to be a walk in service but now it's bookings only and usually a month or so off. Somebody there told me the best bet was to book and then keep checking for cancellations.

I haven't done that as when the next one came up the doctors had started taking blood again. The trouble with that is they don't get nearly as much practice as the hospital and you can sometimes end up with it being painful later. At least mine was.

Years ago, after the GP's stopped taking blood,  we got sent to a clinic in town,  but ages ago  even that stopped doing it too.
So then we got sent to Isebrook hospital at Wellingborough,  or KGH even.
It's Isebrook that can't fit me in until August,  but Nene Park  (Irthlingborough),   was not until even later in August.
I think its terrible now.

Good grief, Mups, that is bad.   We are lucky here - we have two choices.  The Hospital, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, or The Community Stadium, from 7:30am to 5:00pm.  Both of them are 'walk in', but there are always at least four phlebotomists on duty so one never has to wait too long.

Afternoon, It's sunny today so far and I got caught up with all the washing, fair chuffed as it's all dry, folded and put away. Started knitting the winter sweaters so now getting on with the first one along with an audio book.
Have a nice day folks.
