While Trump may well be a brash loud and to many unsavoury character I don't think that has anything to do with his actions politically .

I agree. As foreigners to him we should be concerned with outcomes. It's like those who condemn the BBC's statue of Ariel and Prospero because they disapprove of the sculptor.
