I am having a crown fitted to one of my front teeth.. The tooth has a crack through it..

The dentist has put a temporary crown in place.. I didn't realise what the procedure would entail..
Lots and lots of filing down.. and jets of water ... and that bloody suction thing.. nearly sucked my tonsils out..!!!!
I thought it would be a ten minute job.. no way..

I've had a couple of crowns. It may be a faff but they last. I had one free because I was under 18 and it's still there. Fillings can and often do fail.
