Ah yes,  she liked a cuddle too.
Her name was Penny,   because as a lamb she was all black,  hence  - Penny Black.

Good morning all on yet another grey, cold day.
Hope your mattress comes on time and its a dream to sleep on tonight,  Scrumpy.

There is so much hatred and violence in todays world,  in the news every single day, and in every newspaper you pick up.
I tend to switch off I'm afraid,  I don't like all this hate.

So today, when I received this text message,  from a gentle, kind lady I used to do Yoga with, I was quite touched at the simple but lovely words.
Some will probably think it too syrupy,  but I liked it very much.
Here goes:

"We are in the last month of the year.
I felt I should thank everyone who made me smile this year . . . .  You are one of them,  so here is a big Thank you."
And there was a little picture underneath of some beautiful roses.

Mushy that may sound,  but I think it is so nice to know you have made at least one person smile, especially as she lost her beloved husband this year too.

Bed ... waiting to be tested.. 💤

Not mushy at all Mups.. Someone  you have cheered up during her sad times... Well done you..

That was lovely Mups.

I ventured into the charity shop today, did a bit of sorting, washed the mugs, cleaned the sink etc. Nothing too taxing, but every little helps!  Nice to see my colleagues again.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

I'm a bit pee'd  off.

The electrician I have been waiting for all Christmas,  didn't come and fix my light today.
He said because mine is a special coloured light which can be dimmed to suit,  he has to get it from a different supplier, and they are shut until the  5th January!

So looks like if I want both lights in the kitchen to match  (which I do),  I will have to managed a bit longer.
