Came with several others stuffed inside a local area newsletter which is mostly adverts. A local private hospital seems to be touting a private GP service. Three guesses who the doctors will be - my guess is local GPs moonlighting. I know the hospital consultants there are all from the local General hospital. They're the ones whoose name is down as treating you that you don't get to see. Riff raff get the registrar. If they are lucky.

I bet you are right..
I have been treated privately  by specialists and surgeons from our local hospital....
Perhaps they need the money..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

All my elective surgery has been done at the hat hospital paid for by the NHS. It's called Patient Choice. I think Labour brought it in. Will check.

Looks like it started in the Blair years and continued to evolve.

I can't complain.
A senior consultant in the NHS performed my eye operation some years back.  I have since seen him once privately as necessary.  I don't mind if he performs both NHS and private work.

And before anyone should go on about my 'non-white' comments here, he is brown!
Yes, there are good and bad in all walks of life.
