Not sure if this has spread to the UK, although London has had its share and has renamed one as a Winter Market.

Daughter in law was in Vienna a couple of weeks ago, it looked fabulous!  Very Christmassy.  Not wintery. 😉

They used to hold a small one here but there hasn't been one in several years now. 

Oddly despite still having a huge market square that they have turned to an expanse of emptiness with just a few stalls with their "modernisation" that took about a year so all the traders moved on the Chrismas Markets were always held in the main street.
