How interesting..
Tissue paper and grass seed.. I'll buy some cheap crap from Lidl... and mix it with grass seed and water..
Mixing that together won't worry me..

I was telling the fella who cuts my grass about this, he looked a bit puzzled     He said to fill in patches you need to mix grass seed with some good compost, then spread it on the patches.

That's what we do.

It looks like a good idea grass will grow on practically anything .
And it keeps it in the right place .

I will try again with grass seed and compost..
I must wait for the rains to come.. 
The soil is rock hard..

Don't use that artificial grass though. 
I've been reading about the amount of bacteria that stuff holds,  especially if you've got pets toileting on it,  or even wild birds.

It said with natural grass, any urine, poo, or anything spilled,  just soaks away into the ground,  but not so with that plastic stuff.

It makes me smile because all the goody-goodies trying to 'save the planet'  and do away with plastic containers nowadays,  then they bring out miles and miles of plastic grass instead!   

Same as the government saying tobacco is bad for people,  so they tried to get allt he smokers on to Vapes instead.  Now they have just realised they are harmful, too, and trying to get everyone off them again.
