Has anyone else got a problem

I am not sure if its my computer,  or the forum,  but every time I log in and try to post the last few days,  the page keeps 'freezing.'   
If I wait to see what happens,  it suddenly logs me out altogether.

Any idea what might be causing this please, and what I can do?

I think the stock answer Mups is to reboot your computer.

You mean just turning it off at the wall for a while, then plugging it back in, Vlad?

Forum is working OK for me. I have no idea what could be causing the symptoms you described.

Set your login time to forever - there is not point doing anything else.

Click on Start bottom left, then Power, then Restart.  No problem here either

I did a Restart first,  but after that I also turned it off at the wall for the rest of the afternoon.
Turned it all back on tonight,  and (dare I say) - so far, so good.

Sometimes things just need a reboot. I pull my WiFi Lead out of the modem box once every couple of weeks. Leave it out while I make a latte, then go back and reconnect it, wait a few minutes for it to reset itself and then carry on with whatever I was doing.

It's best not to leave a laptop plugged in all the time anyway as the batteries don't like it.

I just remembered I wrote a script to measure the forum initial response times. I was reminded when I recalled and dug out another old script showing wordle stats. Anyway it seems it is still chugging away collecting the data so anybody can check any time if the save the link...
