Anyone tried making a quiche with cottage cheese ?  I hadn't tried it before but it's turned out really well.  The first one I made was spinach and cheddar but I overdid the spinach a bit
Yesterday I tried using bacon and sausage, very tasty. :upvote:

Not a great fan of quiche probably because I've only eaten bought ones.

I love home made quiche, not tried it with cottage cheese though.  Since my weight loss I rarely touch pastry, can't see me making one any time soon. 😢
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

No pastry GM it's low carb - apart from the sausage

Pastry is fat and carbs and I know well why Mac is avoiding it

Mups

Mmm, your home made quiche sounds lovely, Alex.
I think you should send us all a slice so we can give you our verdict.

When I was diagnosed as pre diabetic, I went on a course to help reduce the risks.  That kick started the weight loss.  Pastry, biscuits, cake - all high fat and carbs as klondike says.  That's why they taste so good! ☺️.

Bought ones are doubtless salty too. Everything you like is bad for you
