The villagers  in a Suffolk village, Stowupland,  are very angry and frustrated at the mo,  because they were planning  some VE day celebrations,  including the lighting of a Beacon,  on their village green.

Unfortunately all their plans have gone pear-shaped and had to be cancelled -  all because some Travellers in caravans decided to park up on the village Green.

Their local council have said they can't light the beacon now, because of 'Health & Safety.'

Same old story isn't it.   The law won't touch them.

That's so wrong.  Minority over majority again.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

The travellers have always done just what they want, haven't they.
They always get away with it too.

Another group of people who are a law unto themselves...
One dare not say (things) about them for fear of being racist...
They park where they like around this area during Derby week..
They take over Appleby with their horse fair.. and they race their horses wherever they like.. It has been known for them to do this on a motorway.. The motorway was blocked off.. and a detour put in place..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Yes,  I remember not far from me a few years back, a young bloke was racing his horse up a lane just before dawn one day.  No lights on his cart, horse going like the clappers,  and they got hit by a vehicle.
The Gipsy was killed, and the vets had to come out because the poor horse was injured.
I was told the animal was so badly injured that the vet had to put it to sleep.

They still do the same where a friend of mine lives now.   Race the 'trotters'  as fast as they can go along her road which is a quiet,  but  built-up area.

Got to love BBC presenters, the lady fronting the VE Day presentation mentioned that some Very Important VIPs would be coming down the Mall soon. 😀

Pikeys too.  It seems that every race of people take priority over us, the white British.  We are already experiencing two-tier laws and consequences.  Why?  Why are we, the true British, being put at the bottom of the pile as a consequence of 'equality'.  The word 'equality' is an absolute nonsense because we are not being treated on an equal basis with certain others.
I sometimes wonder just what this country will become in the not too distant future.
