I suppose, to be fair, we British did the same.  We took control of one quarter of the entire world.

On the other hand, I believe we brought civilisation to the countries of our empire and improved their living standards.
When Islam takes over Britain - and the world - they will impose their religious extremes on us all and not permit our own historic traditions and freedoms.
I used to live in Bradford and have seen how it has now changed under Muslim control.

Oddly I think we all take our home culture with us wherever we go. Today I saw two or three foreign blokes in long flowing robes. A couple pure white and another in a sort of reddish brown. I was wondering why they wore such garb here. Then I thought again and realised that I'd almost certainly be wearing western clothes if I were living wherever they came from.

Women wouldn't be allowed that choice in some parts of the world.  My daughter worked in an American hospital in Saudi for a few years.  The women couldn't leave the compound in Western clothes, they had to cover up in robes.  It may have changed by now, but I doubt it.
