We've just had the official individual State's results read out to the Senate, following the Presidential election last November, televised. Four tellers took turns to read out the numbers, like Michigan (my state) 15 for Trump and 15 for Vance as VP. That horrible woman Harris dutifully glowered or alternatively re-wore that pathetic smirk she wasted in the Election in November, depending on the reading. Diplomatic, her performance wasn't, she of course got the whole West Coast, so she remains at present. Hopefully we won't see a lot more of her, although some of the Democrats want her to run next time! Dead cat bounce I think it's called. Good riddance Kamala ...

She makes an excellent choice for 2028. Only for Republicans obviously.

Well I'm glad it's been confirmed. The woke disease had progressed too far.

I'm glad that the American (and ex-British!) people are supporting Trump because, in addition to helping the American people, he also seems to intend to help the British people and is a good friend of our saviour, Farage!

That said, Evan A. Davis and David M. Schulte, two experts with extensive legal experience, wrote an op-ed for The Hill in which they argued that Democrats would be within their rights to block Trump's certification on grounds of "an oath-breaking insurrection" that makes Trump "ineligible to be president."

This refers to the 14th US amendment which says that "No person shall ... hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath ... to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof."

The authors called evidence of Trump's involvement in the alleged insurrection, following Biden's victory 4 years ago "overwhelming" and, therefore, disqualifying!

Of course pure conjecture and by the little fact that Trump has never been tried or therefore convicted of their accusations, renders such challenge statute barred. But it shows how absolutely reduced and overwhelmed the pathetic Demoncrats are  .

Personally I love watching it all and 'The Don' feeds on it all! -

P.S. Can you imagine how incandescent Granny 49 must be!

'Insurrection or rebellion'?  I think that would take some proving.

'Demoncrats'! 🤣🤣🤣

I hear that 'The Don' and Musk met two days ago, where The President Elect explained to the Super Rich how perplexing a position Nigel's in ref Nick Robinson. Musk sees the latter as a political Prisoner much like Julian Assange was. I think he has little ability to understand the separation to be able to do virtually what he wants to do with the dichotomy of Political opinion versus the luxury he has of random decisions. Personally if it came to a choice of Musk and his zillions or Nigel as he is, I know whom I'd pick to be beside ...

Elon Musk could be a great supporter of our country with his millions, even without handing any over to Nigel Farage who is a widely respected and able figure regardless.

Nevertheless with or without Elon's support, I am certainly in support of Nigel, he being the one and only potential leader of this country who could restore this country to civilisation.
In fact, I'd suggest that he seems to be the only one who would want to.

Imo there will be a bust up between Trump and Musk. Both are eccentric, volatile egotists. Both on the same team has a limited lifespan.

I agree.  The best alliance in my view would be between Farage and Trump, with or without Musk's money!
