The Reindeer killers

How disgusting is this.

A British firm has been offering trips to shoot the Reindeers in Norway.   

Ricky Gervais, comic and animal rights campaigner,  said - "It's bad enough that British companies are allowed to sell Lion and Elephant trophy hunting holidays,  but it also tells you everything you need to know about  the sick mentality of these people,  and for a British company to be marketing Reindeer shooting trips takes the biscuit."

Another man,  called Eduardo Goncalves, founder of the Ban Trophy Hunting campaign,  says  "We always knew that there wasn't a low that trophy hunters wouldn't stoop to, but these beautiful creatures  epitomise the spirit of Christmas, but in the minds of these people they are nothing more than a head to put on the wall."


Words can't describe how much I loathe these trophy hunters.
To kill something which has done you no harm whatsoever,  just for fun and their own ego is beyond my comprehension.

I read in the press recently that trophy hunters were stalking a bear that was hiding in a tree.. Someone shot the bear.. who then fell from the tree killing one of the hunters.. 
So incredibly sad for the bear.. I am pleased that a hunter died.. Such a pity that that the bear didn't fall on all of them..

This is similar to fox hunting which, although supposedly now outlawed, I am sure still continues.

I would never kill any animal.  When our cats bring in a mouse I make every effort to catch and release it.  When a wasp or almost any other insect should venture into our house, I try to catch it and put it outside, even the occasional slug though I have never understood how they manage to get in.

He would not let them pass until they gave him a treat.. then he moved out of their way allowing them to drive on..
It wasn't a busy road.. The locals were his friends..

I can't remember the exact figure now,  but somewhere I read these sadistic half-wits pay over £10,000  to go on this killing spree.

Wasn't he funny, bless him.   He was adamant they weren't getting passed without giving him a nice treat, wasn't he.
