I'm becoming a bit annoyed now.

This is the second time over the past few days when an order I paid for has not been delivered.  I received the usual online message advising me that the items have been delivered, but there is no sign of them anywhere on my property.
I have contacted Amazon and given them all the details and await their response.

Looking on Trustpilot, there are many people who have had the same problems recently.  Clearly, they are either overloading their delivery drivers and causing them to rush, or the drivers themselves are fed up with being overworked.  I suppose that it could be that some of them can't even read.

If this happens again, I'll be looking for an alternative retail company.  Has anyone else had this problem, and have you found a better alternative company?

Did you see a post I made a little while ago about this?

A courier was caught out by someone's door camera.  He was leaving a parcel,  photographing it left at their door/gate as evidence he had delivered it,  then once he had taken the picture, he picked up the parcel again and made off with it!
Nothing anyone can do as the crafty bugger had taken the snap shot as proof of delivery.  This time however,  he was caught red-handed.

This does make me wonder how much this might go on?

Lesson to be learned. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE IN DECEMBER. too busy, stuff gets lost, delivery times are much longer....if at all., temp drivers who don't do the job properly.

Yes, thanks, I do remember reading this earlier.  Hopefully, the person's door camera would also have recorded him running off with it.  Fortunately, we have two front cameras covering all access to our house although, admittedly, one of them is really for the purpose of watching birds at our feeders!
