How can I delete this annoying Bixby thing from my phone?

I don't think you can. Samsung produced it as an alternative to the google assistant. I hate both but at least the google one doesn't intrude. Before they added Bixby if you wanted to turn the phone off you just pressed and held the button now you get into an argument with that thing. Try google that may offer something. If it does let me know.

Maybe you could just ask Bixby but something tells me that won't help. It doesn't with anything else that I've noticed.

Thanks.  I have looked all over the place in Google but, as you say, there's no way to remove Bixby.
What a stupid thing to include it with the Samsung software, and I bet that most people really don't want the thing.

It was on the one I just replaced. Not sure how old that was but it wasn't ancient and I'll pass it on. Samsung only provide updates for 2 years on their flagship S series because they figure on selling new ones to folks who splash out on phones. Lower spec ones get 4 years updates from release. My old one was an A53 released in 2022. I had an A52 released in 2021 but dropped it in the loo and that didn't have it.

You can find the release year of any from google. Based on my phones I'd say 2022 and later have it, It doesn;t seem that updates bring older phones completely up to date on new features.

Annoys JBR. Annoys me too. Probably annoys everybody. I suspect its main function is to send as much personal information on users that it can get away with back to Samsung.
