Has anyone seen this appalling story in the news today?

A little girl, kept hidden in a drawer under the bed, for nearly 3 years!!
The child has finally been rescued,  but cannot talk, walk, or even crawl along.
Unimaginable, isn't it.

Tragic.  I hope the child can be helped to have some semblance of a life.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

They were 'not allowed'  to name the Mother!!!

But I believe they said the maximum sentence could be 7 years.

IMO,  that is not enough for three years of hell forced on an innocent baby.

No words for this really.

How terrible the poor little  child will probably never be normal as the window for speech is so small.
I hope I'm wrong

Such a sad story.. The child was fed mashed up Weetabix and milk by syringe..
The mother is obviously not right in her mind..  One wonders what her own home life is like..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I might accept 7 years if the mother was appropriately incarcerated: in a drawer.
I'm a great believer in poetic justice.
