I doubt it's a non-story, but even if that's how it turns out the media should be giving him the same treatment as they gave to Boris.

Yes - he was hounded mercilessly.

Boris was his own worst enemy.. Such a shame .. I liked him..

He buggered up on getting a decent Brexit deal but that was always going to be a major problem following on from May's surrender. He also buggered up with the lockdown but was far from alone in that. Far too Net Zero nutty as well doubtless that was the influence of Carrie. Cakegate was a complete stitch up. What really brought about his downfall was the fact they he wouldn't know the truth if it bit him on the arse and was a very poor liar.

Poor liar..!!

He is incredibly rich and still raking it in..

He certainly lied a lot but nobody believed a word of it. Even the true stuff and there must surely have been some if only by accident.

I'd like another pandemic, just to see how Labour cope with it.

An absolute mess, a great campaigner and a lousy administrator. Almost unique in my experience. Churchill was perhaps the nearest in comparison. In 1945 when he'd won the war, he lost the General Election to Labour. Clem Attlee did a fine job (unappreciated?) as deputy PM throughourt the war, a quiet unassuming man with a great mind. Churchill never uttered or would never hear anything said against him. However the British people saw in Attlee a progressive planner, Churchill was, as the Labour PM said 'the greatest leader in war this country has ever known'. Boris has a fearsome intellect and is a magnificent orator and motivator, across all classes. However his swerve to the Green corner, via his latest wife/dalliance showed his weakness for distraction and his hollowness in dedication.
