Those filmy tops don't look very bag friendly to me either. Surely they could easily be damaged by other plastic packaging such as that used for cooked meats and the like unless carefully packed.

They changed to lids on double cream ages ago, I did have a moan about that I mean who uses a full carton of cream in one go ?  Main problem for me it was easy to knock the carton over !

I still haven't found a solution and I use cling film over the top of the carton and a base from a dip carton over that.

That is interesting that they compare their bill to that of Tesco...
Is that done automatically.. ?
Hope you like Ocado,  after me recommending it Scrumpy.

And Yes,  they do compare their price with Tesco automatically, and will email you a day or two after you're delivery if they owe you.   They usually give you a code to copy so you can claim any price difference off your next shop with them.
Don't forget to save the carrier bags for the delivery man to take back, too.

10p is 10p to poor people like what I am.

I'm guessing you pay more than 10p for them in the first place though or possibly not as there is a delivery charge. I don't think many supermarkets charge 10p for them now at the tills - going to be at least double that.

I can't imagine you'd get so  much as  a paper bag for 10p now.

I shall continue to use Ocado.. especially when the weather is bad.. and I don't want to go to the big stores..
I do like M&S food..  I shall still support my local Co-op .. I would hate it if that was to close..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

At the risk of repeating myself, we're going to have to provide our own containers with lids, and decant these new style pots into them. And if we have to do it in the shop, so be it.
