I was looking on Google for replacement Brita cartridges so looked on Amazon, The Range, Sainsburys etc just looking for the best deal.  In the end I didn't order any, distracted again !  but this morning on my e-mails at the top where there is always one advert, is a firm based in Widnes called "Finest Filters"

"Are you looking for replacement filter cartridges compatible with Brita Maxtra filter jugs? We sell replacement compatible Brita Maxtra filter cartridges that are a suitable replacement for the traditional Maxtra filters "

They are also known as 'Finest Aquatics' selling pond equipment     I just thought it was a bit spooky

Do you clear your cookies and history often, Alex?

It may be a bit obsessive,  but I  clear mine at the end of every day.

Alex

Yes it's on Automatic, but I still clear both every day

How bloody spooky is that. I made a cup of tea for me and my good lady this morning which tasted a bit odd, we use long life milk so binned the carton, and made another, still tasted odd, thinking it was the water I looked at water purifiers...weird

I've been using a Brita jug for a couple of years now, my water always tasted a bit funny and often would smell of chemicals.  The refills are a bit expensive, but worth it.

Ashy

Maybe some of our cookies share themselves with other entities, long before we have cleared them.
