Well, the football didn't come home, summer never arrived, so bugger it, I am going to put the Christmas tree up.

When I built my house my neighbour (back garden) put some (fast growing ) confers on the boarder of his house and mine..
Stupid really because my property never overlooked his..
The conifers are near an original wall.. His conifers grow so tall that he has to pay for a professional tree cutter to keep them down.. Fool..

Marge bought a small Christmas tree (with roots in a pot) before Christmas last year.  She then planted it out in the garden.  It's still growing happily and will hopefully be available (and a bit bigger) for Christmas next year.
Saves buying a new tree every year.
Typical bloody Yorkies!
