BBC bias

I just heard about the latest BBC Question Time and its obvious bias.
GBNews commenters explained how, quite clearly, the audience was very much in favour of Labour and the Liberals and anti-Conservative and Reform.  I didn't watch the programme, as I have seen it many times before and knew exactly what it would be like.

Looking at readers' comments regarding the programme on You Tube, is quite an eye-opener.  Most are unhappy with both the Tories and, surprisingly, Labour and many seem to wish to promote Plaid, the Liberals and the Greenies.  I have seen no mention of Reform.

I couldn't care less what people vote for; they have every right to vote for whoever they want.  However, I despise the BBC who are very clearly politically biased, yet have the right to demand payment from anyone who dares to watch their programmes.

Absolutely agree - as Nigel said "I sense a real shift out there, somethings really happening". The BBC are just like the ruling 'Wets' in the Tory Party ~ as deaf as they are stupid. The audience reactions to Nigel, plaintive scowling etc, was typical of their inability to play with a straight bat by selecting a typical cross section of the UK! However the more they insist on this wilful arrogance, the stronger the resolve for 'Reform' becomes. But being blind socialists, they may realise this factor and in a perverse way choose this stance to weaken the Tories from their right wing.

Either way a substandard, unedifying programme, which I binned off half way through!

I'm encouraged further by your opinions.  Thank you.
I hope that after Labour have 'led' the country for a few years - perhaps less than five - there may be a greater reaction by the people of this country.
We shall see.

The BBC has got more bias than a set of crown green bowling balls.

Haven't watched QT for years because of its clear left wing basis

I agree.
What I'd like to ask (of the powers that be) is how a politically biased organisation like the BBC can be allowed to demand regular licence payments for the right to watch ANY live television programme.

The BBC became very anti Boris and his government when they threatened to take away the licence fee and replace it with something more based on merit.
The problem with being retired is that you never get a day off

there's a surprise. Apart from Rugby - which it now shares with ITV, can't remember the last time I watched live BBC, certainly not this year, nor last

I used to enjoy Question Time, but now I don't miss the BBC at all.  I also resent the fact I need a licence to watch ITV, when they don't receive any of the licence fee I used to pay.  Let's face it the BBC stopped being good old 'Aunty Beeb's years ago.

I watch a very small percentage of BBC programmes such as Rip-off Britain etc.

Marge maintains that there are some good programmes on BBC, and so she pays the TV Tax.
Personally, I wouldn't give it house room.
