Just spotted this on my local news site..
Urgent recall issued for Magnum ice cream over metal pieces. An urgent recall has been issued by Unilever for Magnum Classic Ice Cream after the "possible presence of metal" makes the "product unsafe to eat."

The products have a 'best-before' date of November 2025.

Been shooting rats in the factory again

Years back found a bolt in a Tesco lasagne. I took it back to Tesco and they gave me a voucher for money off - I don't recall how much but it was generous.

Later I came across what was almost certainly a maggot in the rice of a ready meal. I was goung to take that back but my wife thought it should be reported to trading standards which we did. Never heard anything back at all. Lesson learned. Back to the shop and let them hush it up.

We had just eaten a couple (one each) the day before they announced that.
Can't uneat them now, of course, and didn't really feel sick anyway.
