Ed Balls Cake

Anyone tried this yet ?     a no butter cake !   I'll give it a whirl over the weekend I think.

350 gr. Caster Sugar
300 ml Double Cream
4 Eggs
½ Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
350 gr. Self Raising Flour

I've never heard of a cake without butter so this will be interesting.
Fan 170 for 40 minutes.  I'm going to half this as it makes two cakes to sandwich together.
